WWE NXT Heatwave 2024 Results, Recap & Highlights

A packed weekend featuring a trifecta of WWE events in Toronto was concluded with NXT's Heatwave premium live event, last night where the WWE Universe received their new NXT Champion in the most unprecedented fashion.

The NXT Women's Championship was also on the line on the show alongside three other titles from WWE's third brand. Check out the recap and results from Heatwave 2024 PLE that went down from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada:

- In the kick-off pre-show match, Arianna Grace (Santino Marella's daughter) & Karmen Petrovic defeated Jacy Jayne & Jazmyn Nyx. Petrovic reversed Nyx's roll-up attempt and got the pin-fall as Grace pulled Nyx's hair from outside.

- Oba Femi (c) defeated Wes Lee to retain the NXT North American Championship. Lee's Kardiak Kick attempt was thwarted by the champion who bulldozed his way to another win with his Fall From Grace finisher.

- Kelani Jordan (c) defeated Sol Ruca to retain the NXT Women's North American Championship at Heatwave. After a reverse Alabama Slam, Ruca missed an avalanche, allowing Jordan to connect with the Poison Rana and the split-legged moonsault for the pin-fall win.

- Axiom & Nathan Frazer (c) defeated Chase University (Andre Chase & Duke Hudson) to retain the NXT Tag Team Championship. Frazer took Chase out with a superplex followed by a suicide dive on Hudson. Axiom then executed the Golden Ratio kick on Chase for the pin to win.

- Roxanne Perez (c) defeated Lola Vice to retain the NXT Women's Championship at Heatwave. After hitting a Pop Rox on the announce table, Perez applied a Crossface submission, but Vice escaped it. Perez then hit three consecutive Pop Roxes on Vice to secure the win.

- In the main event of Heatwave PLE, Ethan Page defeated Je'Von Evans, Shawn Spears, and Trick Williams (c) in a Fatal-4-Way Match to win the NXT Championship. The chaotic finish saw Williams hitting the Trick Shot knee on Evans as well as on Page.

Unfortunately for Williams, Page fell on an unconscious Evans while Spears held Williams to stop any sort of breakup during the pin count. Page thus became the new NXT champion as he celebrated with the title to end Heatwave.
