Bengaluru, August 30: The Queenpin of the WWE NXT Women's Division, Tiffany Stratton will go through a tough challenge, a week from now when she puts her championship on the line against a former Tag Team Champion.
A number of talents have been gunning for the NXT Women's Championship held by Stratton as she's been sitting without any challenger over the past few weeks. This set up a match on this week's NXT to determine Stratton's latest opponent.

In a Fatal-4-Way Match in the main event of the August 29 WWE NXT episode, Kiana James defeated Roxanne Perez, Blair Davenport, and Gigi Dolin to become the new number-one contender for the NXT Women's Championship.
Perez was in the driver's position in the match as she took current rival Davenport out of the equation by nailing her with the Pop Rox finisher. As Davenport rolled out of the ring, Perez turned her attention toward Gigi.
Gigi countered and tried to connect with the Gigi Driver when James entered the ring and nailed Perez with the 401K before finally delivering a knee to the face of Gigi to secure the pin-fall win.
After the match, Tiffany Stratton came out to confront Kiana in the ring while holding the NXT Women's Championship high up in the air. The face-off between the two also sent the latest NXT episode off the air.
Soon after, WWE gave updates on NXT's social media handle about the impending match and made it official for the September 5 episode, next Tuesday night which marks the biggest opportunity of young Kiana James' career.
Kiana previously held the now-extinct NXT Women's Tag Team Championship with Fallon Henley before dropping the gold to Katana Chance and Kayden Carter. She's since parted ways with Henley as well as their friends Josh Briggs and Books Jensen.
On the flip side, Tiffany Stratton won the NXT Women's Championship at the age of just 24 during the NXT Battleground premium live event by defeating Lyra Valkyria in the finals of a tournament in what marked her only 26th televised match.
The first title defense for NXT's Buff Barbie Doll went down at Gold Rush in early July against Thea Hail. A few weeks later, Hail again got a shot at the championship at NXT Great American Bash but came up short.
