Bengaluru, February 22: WWE NXT Championship was on the line in the main event capacity of this week's episode of NXT where an Indian Superstar challenged the champion Bron Breakker.

Former Toxic Attraction member Gigi Dolin made her return to the WWE to seek redemption against Jacy Jayne. Ilja Dragunov returned to action while the reigning NXT tag champs were also in action.

Check out the recap and results from the February 21 episode of WWE NXT that took place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida:

- Ilja Dragunov defeated Trick Williams in the opening contest of NXT. Dragunov dodged the finisher of Trick and downed him with a German suplex before finally connecting with his pendant Torpedo Moscow for the pin-fall win. After the match, Ilja shared a staredown with JD McDonagh.

- In a backstage segment, Josh Briggs accused Fallon Henley of ruining the Valentine's Day date Kiana James and Brooks Jensen, last week.

- WWE NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez was seen learning some training tricks from the veteran Meiko Satomura in a training session.

- The Dyad (Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid with Joe Gacy and Ava) defeated Chase University members (Duke Hudson and Andre Chase with Thea Hail) in a tag team contest.

Andre had to leave the ring and comfort who was scared of Ava scaring her. Duke was alone in the ring as he was double-teamed by Dyad who hit the double Codebreakers for the pin to win. Duke Hudson was upset about Chase University not finding success in recent times.

- Jacy Jayne defeated Indi Hartwell via DQ following interference from Gigi Dolin. After a whiplash into the corner, Jayne downed Indi with a big boot.

As she looked to capitalize, Dolin appeared from behind and pounced on her to cause the disqualification win. The two eventually brawled their way to the backstage area.

- WWE NXT Tag Team Champions Gallus (Mark Coffey and Wolfgang) defeated Malik Blade and Edris Enofe in the non-title tag team match. After a back elbow, Wolfgang made the tag as the duo delivered their finisher to get the pin to win.

After the match, Pretty Deadly's Elton Prince and Kit Wilson attacked Gallus. After sending both the Gallus members into steel ring steps, they slammed Wolfgang on top of the ring steps.

- Tony D'Angelo (with Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo) defeated Von Wagner (with Mr. Stone). After a belly-to-belly suplex and a spinebuster, Tony hit Fisherman's Suplex on Wagner for the pin to win. After the match, Tony challenged Dijak to a Jailhouse Street Fight at WWE NXT Roadblock 2023.

- Alba Fyre (with Isla Dawn) defeated Ivy Nile (with Tatum Paxley) in a short match. Fyre sent Nile into Paxley off the ring apron. Fyre quickly followed up with the Gory Bomb finisher on Nile for the pin to win.

- Bron Breakker (c) defeated Jinder Mahal (with Veer Mahaan and Sanga of Indus Sher) to retain WWE NXT Championship in the main event match.

After a big boot, Mahal set Bron up for the Cobra Clutch slam finisher, but Bron escaped the hold to connect with the Sudden Impact to secure the pin-fall win. After the match, Carmelo Hayes came out and stared down Bron from the ramp.

- Grayson Waller appeared just before NXT went off the air to announce that he invited WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels on his talk show on the WWE NXT Roadblock special, two weeks from now.
