Also, the NXT North American Championship was on the line on the show where a number of women's singles bouts were booked while a couple of challenges were made for next week's Roadblock.

Check out the recap and results from the February 28 episode of WWE NXT that took place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida:

- Superstars got into a brawl to open things on NXT as they wanted to answer Wes Lee's open challenge for the North American Title. Nathan Frazer was the first person to get into the ring after Apollo Crews returned and attacked Dabba-Kato.

- Wes Lee defeated Nathan Frazer in the opening contest of NXT to retain his WWE NXT North American Championship.

Frazer set Lee up for a Frogsplash but Lee moved at the last minute to send Frazer through the announce table. Dragging Frazer back into the ring, Lee connected with the Kardiak Kick for the pin to win.

- Indus Sher (Veer Mahaan and Sanga with Jinder Mahal) defeated Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen in a tag team match. Briggs and Jensen weren't on the same page as Mahaan easily delivered the Shotei finisher for the pin to win.

After the match was over, Jinder took the mic to challenge The Creed Brothers to a six-man tag team match with a partner of their own choosing at Roadblock, next week.

- Gigi Dolin delivered an emotional promo about her childhood days being tough. She also teased facing Jacy Jayne at Roadblock.

- Chase U member Andre Chase challenged Schism leader Joe Gacy to a match at Roadblock after the two had a verbal exchange in a backstage segment.

- Meiko Satomura defeated Zoey Stark after ducking a 450-splash and quickly countering with a Death Valley Driver and Scorpio Rising combo. After the match, NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez confronted Meiko.

- Sol Ruca defeated Elektra Lopez (with Valentina Feroz) in the next match via distraction. Lopez wanted to utilize a pair of brass knuckles but Feroz wasn't willing to pass those into the ring.

Ruca easily delivered Sol Snatcher for the pin-fall win over Lopez. After the match, an irate Lopez slapped Feroz but Feroz knocked her out on the mat.

- Tiffany Stratton defeated Katana Chance (with Kayden Carter) in another short match. Chance missed a crossbody attempt off the top rope as Tiffany got out of the way.

Tiffany then caught her with a powerslam before delivering a leg-split moonsault for the pin to win. After the match, Tiffany took the mic and claimed to be coming after Roxanne Perez's NXT women's championship.

- Axiom continued his recent winning streak on NXT by defeating Hank Walker. After delivering a series of stiff kicks, Axiom hit the Golden Ratio on Hank for the pin to win.

- In the main event of NXT, Carmelo Hayes (with Trick Williams) defeated Tyler Bate. As always, Trick interfered in the match, forcing Bate to focus on taking him out.

But this gave Carmelo time to recuperate as he downed Bate with a Codebreaker before coming off the top rope with a leg drop for the pin to win. The heel duo celebrated the win in the ring to send the show off-air.
