WWE NXT results, recap and highlights: March 14, 2023

Bengaluru, March 15: The NXT Championship match contract signing for Stand & Deliver served as the headliner segment of this week's NXT.

A couple of contenders' matches were there for the NXT Women's Title. Plus, new challengers were declared for the NXT Women's tag team championships. Also, the men's tag titles were on the line.

Check out the recap and results from the March 14 episode of WWE NXT that took place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida:

- Johnny Gargano kicked off NXT with a promo session where he pointed out having unfinished business with Grayson Waller. NXT Commentator Vic Joseph gave him a cell phone with Waller on the line.

Apparently, Waller reached Gargano's home. After hearing the news on phone, Gargano ran away to the back. Gargano was then spotted leaving the arena in his car.

- Gallus (Wolfgang and Mark Coffey) defeated Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson and Elton Prince) to retain their NXT Tag Team Titles in the opening contest.

Wolfgang saved his partner from receiving the Spilled Milk finisher from Deadly. Gallus then hit their finisher on Kit for the pin to win.

- Zoey Stark defeated Sol Ruca in a Qualifier Match for the NXT Women's Championship Ladder Match at Stand & Deliver.

Ruca took too much time after getting Stark back into the ring following a moonsault. Stark took the opportunity and hit a belly-to-back GTS for the pin to win.

- Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn defeated Kayden Carter & Katana Chance and Ivy Nile & Tatum Paxley in a Number One Contenders Match for the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship at Stand & Deliver.

Paxley turned her back on Nile during the match and delivered a beatdown outside the ring. Utilizing the opportunity, Dawn and Fyre leveled Nile with a double-team maneuver to secure the pin-fall win.

- Ilja Dragunov called out JD McDonagh into the ring. After a brief verbal exchange, the two started to fight. The brawl continued at ringside and then out of the arena.

- Wes Lee issued North American Championship Open Challenge as Axiom came out to accept but SCRYPTS took him out. JD McDonagh then appeared but Dragunov beat him down. Lee then leveled with a flying over-the-top-rope move.

- In a backstage segment, Jacy Jayne informed that Gigi Dolin's attack separated her shoulder during their match at NXT Roadblock.

- Dabba-Kato defeated Apollo Crews in the next match. Kato planted Crews on the ring steps with a slam. He then pinned his former master with a double-handed chokeslam.

- Gigi Dolin defeated Kiana James in a Qualifier Match for the NXT Women's Championship Ladder Match at Stand & Deliver. Overcoming a neckbreaker, Dolin kicked James into the face and then pinned her with the Abdominal Stretch Driver.

- Grayson Waller and Johnny Gargano got involved in a fight at the latter's home. Gargano's wife Candice LeRae came out to check on him and the distraction allowed Waller to hit Gargano with a rake.

- Bron Breakker and Carmelo Hayes (with Trick Williams) appeared in the main event segment of NXT to sign the contract for their NXT Championship Match at Stand & Deliver.

Pretty Deadly - Kit Wilson and Elton Prince came out to the ring to officiate things. Both Breakker and Carmelo signed on the dotted line to make the match, official.

When they went to leave the ring, Kit and Prince wanted some drama which led to the champion and challenger putting the Pretty Deadly members through the signing table. The two men had a staredown to send the show off-air.
