WWE NXT Roadblock 2023: Jailhouse Street Fight & Shawn Michaels announced

Bengaluru, February 22: The next themed weekly episode of NXT - Roadblock is just two weeks from now and the card for the show has started to shape up since last week.

After Meiko Satomura vs. NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez was confirmed on February 14th, this week, Tony D'Angelo challenged Dijak to a Jailhouse Street Fight on that night.

The Don of NXT defeated Von Wagner on this week's NXT and then laid down the challenge to Dijak to which the latter will respond next week.

D'Angelo praised Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo for always choosing family above anything else. He then noted that his business with Dijak is far from over before issuing the challenge.

This comes at a point when Dijak is still trying to recover from his loss at NXT Vengeance Day, where he unsuccessfully challenged NXT North American Champion Wes Lee for the title.

Upon his return to the black and gold brand late last year, Dijak immediately started feuding with Wes Lee which concluded at Vengeance Day PLE.

In more announcements for Roadblock, NXT head-honcho and WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels is likely to appear during that episode for a special edition of The Grayson Waller Effect.

After Bron Breakker retained his NXT Title against Jinder Mahal in the main event, the Australian superstar hijacked the NXT production truck and asked Shawn Michaels to join him on the talk show hosted by him.

The 2023 WWE NXT Roadblock episode will take place Tuesday, March 7 at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The current match card of the night goes as follows:

- NXT Women's Championship Match: Roxanne Perez (c) vs. Meiko Satomura

- Jailhouse Street Fight: Tony D'Angelo vs. Dijak

- The Grayson Waller Effect talk-show with special guest WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels

As for next week's episode of NXT, Wes Lee announced his decision to defend his North American Title during a backstage interview segment with McKenzie Mitchell, this week on NXT.

Last week, Lee had successfully defended the title against Von Wagner, keeping the strong momentum intact since winning the belt at Halloween Havoc. The former MSK member also defeated Dijak to retain his title at Vengeance Day.

Zoey Stark will take on Meiko Satomura on the show. Stark initiated the match setup after trash-talking to the Japanese legend during an interview segment this week on NXT.

In addition, the February 28, 2023 episode of NXT will also feature a singles contest between Tyler Bate and Carmelo Hayes which leaves the match card as given below:
