WWE's NXT fanbase has been witnessing some big returns, as of late, and the NXT Roadblock-themed episode was no different. Overall, three such comebacks went down on the show including one in the main event slot.
During a backstage segment of NXT between Fallon Henley and Riley Osbourne, Blair Davenport interjected and advised Henley to stay away from minding other's business affairs as she was talking about Thea Hail's relationship.

Henley also challenged Davenport and invited her to offer guidance if she disagreed with her approach. This resulted in a match at Roadblock where Henley defeated Davenport via interference from a return in that match.
It was Sol Ruca (who was out of action with a knee ACL injury) who came out and attacked Davenport outside the ring behind the referee's back to seek revenge for Davenport's attack on her.
Moving on in the show, The No Quarter Catch Crew assembled in the ring, and it was declared that any member of the group would be eligible to defend the Heritage Cup. William Regal then made a surprise return, to express his connection with the Heritage Cup.
Regal urged them to uphold the cup with honor and integrity and Regal's son Charlie Dempsey confidently declared his determination to regularly defend the cup and retain its prestige by saying he'll do it better than Regal ever could.
In the main event of the Roadblock 2024 special, Tony D'Angelo defeated Carmelo Hayes to earn an NXT Championship match against Ilja Dragunov at NXT Stand & Deliver 2024 during WrestleMania 40 weekend.
During the ending part of the match, Melo's old friend, Trick Williams' entrance music started playing, but he did not appear. The distraction allowed Tony D'Angelo to capitalize and plant Hayes onto the mat for the pin-fall win.
Once the match was over, Tony apologized for pulling this trick, but eventually, Williams returned and went after Carmelo with an attack. The security team had to pull away Williams as Roadblock went off the air.
