Bengaluru, March 8: The 2023 edition of NXT Roadblock aired last night with the NXT Women's Championship match between the champion Roxanne Perez and the challenger Meiko Satomura serving as the main event.

Two former Toxic Attraction buddies squared off in a match following last month's betrayal. Plus, WWE Legend Shawn Michaels was challenged to a match that led to a mega return to the NXT brand.

Check out the recap and results from the March 7 episode of WWE NXT / NXT Roadblock 2023 episode that took place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida:

- NXT Roadblock 2023 kicked off with Tiffany Stratton taking us into the show with a vignette.

- Tony D'Angelo (with Stacks) defeated Dijak in a Jailhouse Street Fight in the opening contest of Roadblock. Dijak neutralized Stacks with Feast Your Eyes this gave Tony enough time to recover.

Tony got the time to grab a crowbar and hit Dijak multiple times with it. He then sent Dijak face-first into a jail structure and then slammed the door of the jail structure into Dijak's face to get the pin to win.

- NXT Tag Team Champions Gallus (Joe Coffey and Wolfgang) and Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson and Elton Prince) had a confrontation which led to a brawl between the two teams as the officials had to arrive to separate them.

- WWE's newest masked Luchador Dragon Lee was shown sitting at ringside, enjoying NXT Roadblock.

- WWE NXT Champion Bron Breakker and The Creed Brothers (with Ivy Nile) defeated Indus Sher (Jinder Mahal, Veer Mahaan, and Sanga) in a six-man tag team match.

The chaotic affair ended when Brutus got the tag and Julius got Mahaan up in an Electric Chair position. Brutus ascended to the top rope and nailed a Brutus Ball on Mahaan for the pin to win.

- Grayson Waller challenged WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels to a match at NXT Stand & Deliver.

Michaels said that he can't compete as he's retired, but he then brought out an opponent for him in the form of the former NXT Champion and current Raw Superstar, Johnny Gargano.

The Heart & Soul of NXT appeared and attacked Waller, right away. After the segment, Waller vs. Gargano was officially announced for NXT Stand & Deliver.

- Gigi Dolin defeated Jacy Jayne after a back-and-forth affair. After a series of kicks, Jayne delivered a neckbreaker and a senton on Dolin. But Dolin attacked her back with a unique new finisher for the pin to win.

After the match, Jayne used a steel chair and put Dolin's neck into it, and bashed it, hard. The officials came out and stopped Jayne from doing further damage to her former tag team partner.

- NXT Champion Bron Breakker called out Carmelo Hayes and presented him with a title match opportunity at NXT Stand & Deliver. Carmelo accepted the offer and the title match was made, official.

- Joe Gacy (with Schism and Ava Raine) defeated Andre Chase (with Duke Hudson and Thea Hail) in a singles contest.

In the finishing sequence, Hail gathered the courage to confront Ava outside the ring. Gacy took advantage of this distraction and delivered The Upside Down finisher on Chase for the pin to win.

- Roxanne Perez (c) defeated Meiko Satomura to retain her NXT Women's Championship in the main event of NXT Roadblock 2023.

Perez sent Satomura into the ring post followed by the Pop Rox. Satomura still fought back with an enziguri but Perez suddenly got the pin-fall win with a schoolboy.

After the match, Satomura raised Perez's hands as a sign of respect but Perez collapsed in the ring. NXT Roadblock went off the air as Perez was taken away from the building on a stretcher.
