Former CMLL and NJPW Strong Women's Champion Stephanie Vaquer has finally showed up on NXT programming and she also has a date set for her in-ring debut on WWE's third brand in a week from now.
As confirmed on the second episode of WWE NXT on CW Network, Vaquer will compete in an NXT ring for the very first time against Wren Sinclair, next Tuesday night. Sinclair made a challenge to Vaquer to set up the match.

Before this match announcement, Stephanie Vaquer made her official NXT debut, providing backup to Giulia who was standing alone against NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade following their reunion on the show.
This happened after Perez retained her title against Giulia last week at NXT's CW premiere with help from the returning Jade. As for Vaquer, she signed with WWE in the summer and wrestled her first two matches in NXT house shows in Mexico.
In another major happening from this week's NXT, Nikkita Lyons has returned to television for the first time since this year's January. The surprise return went down in a backstage segment with NXT General Manager Ava.
She ended up having a confrontation with Lola Vice which led to the announcement of Lyons vs. Vice for next week's episode. While this will be Lyons' in-ring TV return, she has already competed on an NXT house show on September 27.
Lyons suffered a left ACL injury in January and thereby got written off TV just after coming back from a similar lengthy injury hiatus. Her last televised bout took place on the January 9 WWE NXT episode against Blair Davenport.
Lyons vs. Vice is one of four matches set for the October 15 WWE NXT episode that will also have a number-one contender's match on the card. At a glance, the currently confirmed matches for next week are as follows:
