The prestigious Heritage Cup returned to the No Quarter Catch Crew stable during the latest episode of WWE NXT after Charlie Dempsey defeated Tony D’Angelo in one of the co-main-event matches to win it back.
Dempsey scored a 2-1 win over D’Angelo in the Heritage Cup match which is contested in a British Rounds format with multiple falls in it. The decisive win came after Wren Sinclair of the No Quarter Catch Crew interfered to cost D’Angelo the bout.

The interference also hints at a potential rematch between D’Angelo and Dempsey in the upcoming WWE premium live event under NXT’s banner that’s No Mercy set for Sunday, September 1 in Denver, Colorado.
D’Angelo had a reign with the Heritage Cup that lasted for 92 days while this marks the second career Heritage Cup reign for Dempsey, who now joins Noam Dar as the only WWE star to have captured the cup more than once.
Another championship change occurred on the August 13 episode of WWE NXT as Chase U members Andre Chase & Ridge Holland defeated Nathan Frazer & Axiom on Tuesday’s show to win the Tag Team Titles in the main event.
Miscommunications were noticed between Axiom and Frazer throughout the match and there was a point when it seemed that Frazer was about to turn on his partner. This ultimately cost them the titles.
As Frazer & Axiom’s title reign ends at 126 days, this marked the second title win for Chase U. Previously, Andre Chase won the Tag Team gold with Duke Hudson in 2023 while the latest one marks Holland’s first title win in his WWE career.
North American Champion Oba Femi was the only champion to retain his title on NXT against WWE Raw Superstar Otis. Speaking of titles, two number-one contenders’ matches will be there on next week’s NXT as the card goes as follows:
