WWE officials not blaming Sasha Banks for ending Paige’s career

Bengaluru, February 16: WWE backstage officials are not pointing fingers at WWE diva Sasha Banks for ending the career of WWE superstar Paige.

Many WWE fans blame Sasha banks for the unfortunate situation as she was the one who landed a botched knee on the ruptured neck of Paige, causing the injury.

If recent reports are to be believed, Paige's career is over in the company. She will never be able to perform inside the squared circle ever again.

According to PWInsider.com, the backstage officials do not feel Sasha Banks is to be held responsible for the move which could end the career of the youngest Divas Champion in the history of the company. "For those who have asked whether there is heat on Sasha Banks because of the Paige situation, we are told that the answer to that is no. It's being seen as something that could have happened with anyone in the ring and not something that was a direct result of Banks' actions. The two did the exact same spot the night before in Madison Square Garden," a source told the PWInsider.com.

When it comes to the Sasha Banks, the Legit Boss of the WWE, she has already earned a name for herself for hurting people in her matches. She hurt former superstar Emma with another botched knee recently.

The injury meant Paige had to miss the first-ever women's Royal Rumble match. Back then, the doctors were biding time to give Paige one last chance for her neck to heal. If the results on her final check-up come out negative, Paige will have no choice but to officially announce her retirement at the age of 25.

WWE are going easy on Banks as Paige was already carrying a nagging neck injury the last couple of years. They felt the injury would aggravate at point or another and hence, there's no need to blame Sasha Banks for it.

Paige too was always aware of the future of her in-ring career. When she was told about it, the anti-Diva of the WWE could not believe that it was happening with her. She still remains optimisitc of getting a clearance from the WWE doctors someday. A source told the wrestlingINC.com: "She doesn't really believe it and is actually hoping for a miracle to someday wrestle again. She knows it is far fetched but her emotions are all over the place right now and she hasn't accepted retirement just yet."
