Bengaluru, August 15: The program between Becky Lynch and WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus has been ongoing on Raw throughout the spring and summer. It now seems that the two might go into the fall of 2023, stretching things up.
The feud which was originally supposed to get wrapped up on the latest edition of Raw, will now be dragged for some more weeks. A rematch between the two bitter rivals is set which should go down at next month's Payback.

Trish Stratus vs. Becky Lynch was one of the headliners of the August 14 episode of Raw. After the two got involved in a physical match, the intensity led to a Double Count-Out finish as both women left the ring and brawled in the crowd.
After the referee called for the match bell, the two women fought through the crowd and went up the stairs into the backstage area where a crowd was gathered to watch them fight right in front of them.
As they were brawling at the merchandise stand, Zoey Stark showed up. Taking advantage of the two-on-one situation, Trish and Zoey laid out Becky, while Trish's home country fans chanted "Thank You Trish".
Adam Pearce wasn't happy about how Trish Stratus vs. Becky Lynch ended. He was so furious that he booked another rematch between the two. To prevent any sort of interference, the next time the two will compete inside a Steel Cage.
Interestingly, the time and place of the match weren't declared which makes us believe that WWE will eventually insert it into Payback premium live event set for Saturday, September 2 from PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
If the ongoing reports are to go by then top attractions of the WWE, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, and Brock Lesnar would not compete at Payback PLE and replacements would be needed to sell out the show.
From that perspective, this bout should be a great addition to be added to the upcoming PLE. Besides, the two veterans could also share the stage in a WWE Network Specials instead of fighting on free television.
Trish Stratus vs. Becky Lynch was primarily set to be one of the main events of Summerslam but the match was scrapped due to time constraints. Ironically, it will be WWE's Payback as they make way for the duo to compete in the follow-up PLE.
