WWE and UFC brands were merged under the parent company of Endeavor to create TKO which now controls both the brands. As a result, the two giants in the sports entertainment genre came under a wing to create a long-term association.
In an update, the two gigantic entertainers will now offer shows in a joint venture as indicated by UFC President Dana White. It was noted that the WWE premium live event schedule will head back to the older concept to offer a long weekend for sports enthusiasts.

Speaking at a post-show press conference after a UFC Fight Night event in St. Louis, White stated that WWE will reintroduce Sunday night PLEs while UFC events will be held on Saturdays, thus offering fans a weekend double-header in combat sports entertainment.
"Yeah, we already have those dates set up right now, where Power Slap goes Friday and UFC goes Saturday. And then you're going to see Friday, Power Slap, Saturday, UFC, and Sunday, WWE. You'll start seeing that stuff, too."
It was in 2022 that WWE preponed premium live events to Saturday nights thanks to the marketing strategy of WWE President Nick Khan as he wanted to move away from the conventional Sunday night shows to ensure success in the long-term.
There's no update on when this new strategy will be adopted but This WWE-UFC collaborative events have already begun at the same venue over a weekend, with UFC typically on Saturdays and WWE SmackDown on Fridays, followed by WWE Raw on Mondays.
Additionally, PWInsider suggests that WWE has been discussing adjustments to the start time of domestic Premium Live Events, as they want to commence the shows from 7 PM format like in previous years and the format will be applied at NXT Heatwave, SummerSlam, and Bash at Berlin.
WWE is currently having a packed schedule of Premium Live Events, with the next one being the King & Queen of The Ring on May 25th in Saudi Arabia. A day later, NXT Battleground PLE will be presented at UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.
