WWE to pull off some big matches in the Summerslam main card

Bengaluru, August 11: Summerslam is the second biggest event of the year just after Wrestlemania in the WWE calendar. So, when it comes to making matches, the biggest storylines are kept in reserve for this show. Some of the bigger feuds from the entire year battle in this event and this time will not be any different.
This is one of those four events where both Raw and Smackdown superstars get to participate leading to a lengthy event. This tradition has increased following the WWE Draft from last year. As expected, the last edition went over time, reaching six hours.
Considering this, it gets difficult for the creative team to fit in all the planned matches on the main show of Summerslam. So, sometimes they have to deal with some tough choices leading some of the superstars to become unhappy. Even this time we are getting an update that some of the major matches might be shifted to the kick-off show.
According to the reports of Inquistr.com, the match between Sami Zayn and Mike Kanellis might not find a way in to the main card due to the lackluster storyline. Although these two individuals have immense potentials, they did not get enough TV time.
Hence, this match might take place on the kick-off show or a week earlier than the PPV on Smackdown. A similar pattern might be arranged for the feud between Big Show and Big Cass. But, the duel of the giants got poor response from the crowd.
Plus, the Hollywood A-lister might also not get a big match due to an unworthy opponent. He is ready to face Jason Jordan for the Intercontinental title at the dual-brand PPV. However, the officials still do not agree that the latter one is ready to get a solo PPV spot this early in his career.
It will be worse for The IC titleholder to be out of the main card of Summerslam for the aforementioned reason. He is a guy that has been earning the spotlight for the past 10 years with her natural heel antics and does not deserve this, at all.
