As the speculations get bigger around the much-anticipated match between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre, the former has been announced to make an appearance on the next episode of Raw just two weeks before SummerSlam.
This comes as an aftermath of McIntyre's show-up on the latest episode of Raw where he was supposed to get into an agreement with the general manager Adam Pearce to get reinstated on the roster but he failed to come to terms.

To get himself booked in a match against CM Punk, Pearce told McIntyre to apologize to the two referees that McIntyre hurt at the Money in the Bank post-show segment. McIntyre refused to do it these referees never watched his back while Punk scr**ed him.
McIntyre rather told Pearce to apologize to him for his fault of not handling Punk in a suitable manner. Pearce said McIntyre will remain suspended if he doesn't apologize to make the former champion fuming.
McIntyre again took out both the referees and got in Pearce's face which led to Seth Rollins coming out for the save and starting a brawl, backstage. Rollins went for the Stomp, but McIntyre retreated from the scene.
In light of this happening, CM Punk has been confirmed to make an appearance on next week's Raw to address the situation. McIntyre vs. Punk continues to be a heavily pushed match for SummerSlam but it's yet to be officially announced.
A six-man tag team contest will be there on Raw with Xavier Woods teaming with Otis & Akira Tozawa against The Final Testament's Karrion Kross, Akam & Rezar. Woods' usual tag partner Kofi Kingston is out of action due to injury following Kross' attack.
Lyra Valkyria vs. Sonya Deville in a singles contest has also been announced for Raw after Deville appeared in the corner of Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark to win a tag match against Katana Chance & Kayden Carter with Valkyria cornering the latter duo.
The July 22 episode of Monday Night Raw takes place at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin marking the second last episode before the 2024 annual SummerSlam premium live event. The currently confirmed match card for the weekly show goes as follows:
