New York, Sep 13: Last Night, WWE Raw came live from the Royal Farms arena in Baltimore, Maryland. We were all set to know whether the WWE universal title match at Clash of Champions will be a one-on-one or a triple threat match.

WWE Backlash stole the show on Sunday and has been the talking point since then and we kicked off the night with Mick Foley addressing the same to the crowds. He promised to deliver a quality show to Baltimore crowd in the flagship show.

After congratulating his friend Becky Lynch for becoming the first-ever Smackdown Women's champion, he called Raw's Women's champion, Charlotte to decide the number one contender's spot for her title. The deserving candidates, Sasha Banks and Bayley were present inside the ring and even Dana Brooke inserted herself into the mix by slapping Charlotte.

So, we have got a triple threat match and the winner will challenge Charlotte at the Clash of Champions PPV. The match ended in controversy because both Sasha and Bayley's shoulder was down during the pinfall. After seeing the replay for different occasions it was declared that Sasha Banks was the winner. Hence, he will be the one to challenge Charlotte at Clash of champions.

In the main event, we saw Roman Reigns taking on Kevin Owens with the stipulation if he wins he will be added to the WWE Universal title match. During the match, The Big Dog was pushed to the ring post and Owens started celebrating. But as expected, Seth Rollins ran down to the ring and attacked the champion to hand Owens the win via disqualification.

However, Mick Foley decided to restart the match. But this time too, Reigns was screwed by Rusev. He came down to the ring to create a distraction. Owens took the fullest advantage by hitting his finishing maneuver, pop-up powerbomb to keep the title bout a one-on-one affair.

As for the rest of the night, Owens' buddy Jericho had Sami Zayn as his guest on the Highlight Reel. Bo Dallas rolled with his “Believe in Bo" campaign. Nia Jax got into a feud with Alicia Fox and attacks Alicia mercilessly, in a match.

Needless to mention, the fifth match in the best of seven series took place between Sheamus and Cesaro. Predictably, Cesaro picked up the win since he has to settle the score.

In the tag team division, the challengers, Gallows and Anderson defeated the champions, the New Day. Enzo and Cass continued their feud with the Shining stars. However, Enzo ended up losing a match against Epico.
