Jey Uso is going to challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the coming Backlash PPV event. Heading into the show, he's expected to pick up momentums as he squares off against the champion's cohort Finn Balor.

Uso has been on a hot streak, recently as he claimed a major WrestleMania 40 win over his brother Jimmy Uso. Then he also became the number-one contender during last week's Raw by winning a fatal 4-way match with an assist from CM Punk.
An advertisement regarding the April 15 episode of Raw aired this past episode of Friday Night SmackDown that announced Sheamus' return to WWE programming after being absent from TV for 238 days.
As of writing, no confirmation is available on whether he will be seen in action or not. The last time we saw him in a match was when for the very first time he faced Edge on the August 18, 2023 episode of SmackDown.
Sheamus is a former King of the Ring tournament, Royal Rumble, and Money in the Bank contract winner who also cashed in on the opportunity to become a multi-time world champion in the company.
