Over on the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, WWE officially announced CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre for the 2024 SummerSlam with Seth "Freakin'" Rollins serving to be the special guest referee in the match.
After Punk announced himself to be medically cleared for action, WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce made Punk vs. McIntyre official. Furthermore, McIntyre was reinstated on the Raw roster from his temporary suspension following Money in the Bank.

The intriguing storyline will continue on next week's Raw where Seth Rollins will give his referee instructions to Punk and McIntyre just five days before the two bitter rivals hammer away at each other in a singles bout.
Rollins was speculated to make this contest a triple threat but WWE ruled that option out by putting him in the official's role. All three men have been advertised to appear under one roof on Raw's next episode which could cause all hell breaking loose.
The 2024 WWE King of the Ring winner and the current number-one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship, Gunther will be in action on next week's Raw against The Judgment Day's Finn Balor.
Gunther is all set to challenge Balor's Judgment Day cohort Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Title at SummerSlam. Last night on Raw, the challenger labeled the entire Judgment Day "street trash" and called both Priest and the fans "bums."
This caused Priest to come out and go right after The Ring General to create a brawl in the ring. WWE officials rushed to the ring to separate the two but they kept on fighting heading into the backstage area.
A six-woman tag team match has also been confirmed for next week's Raw where Sonya Deville, Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark will be competing against Lyra Valkyria, Katana Chance & Kayden Carter.
Continuing their ongoing feud, Deville defeated Valkyria on Raw after distractions by her tag partners. But later that night, the babyface trio of Valkyria, Chance & Carter helped Zelina Vega win a match against Stark.
The July 29 episode of Monday Night Raw also the go-home red brand show for SummerSlam 2024 will air on SYFY instead of USA Network from the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota with the following match card:
