WWE Raw: Rhea Ripley Out Of Action For ‘Undisclosed’ Time With Legitimate Injury

Rhea Ripley was out on this week's NXT to show support to her country-native Zaria and others but she ultimately became a victim of the infamous parking lot of the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

The former Judgment Day member was left in a pile of blood outside the PC, following a yet-to-be-confirmed attack by her current rivals. As a result, she will be missing WWE television in the coming weeks.

WWE has provided an official statement on their website regarding Ripley's current injury following NXT appearance, this past Tuesday night and that she will miss an 'undisclosed' amount of time due to this. Interestingly, this hasn't been just a kayfabe storyline.

According to the reports of PWInsider, sources indicate that a legitimate injury is the reason behind this angle being shown on this past episode of NXT. Rhea Ripley is believed to have picked up the injury during a headbutt spot on the October 21 episode of Raw.

This led her to get pulled from the upcoming WWE Raw tapings on Sunday in Saudi Arabia. The Wrestling Observer also confirmed the injury, speculating that the top WWE Superstar could have fractured her bone last Monday night.

"She's got a fractured orbital bone. So, the injury that they announced is pretty much legit. Yeah, it happened last week. I'm not sure, probably the last TV thing, because she hasn't worked any house shows."

While Liv Morgan's attack was never shown on television, she's been bragging about taking her nemesis out of commission. In reply, Rhea Ripley also took to her X handle to mention that consequences will be there when she eventually returns.

Before the main event of NXT, cameras caught Women's World Champion Liv Morgan and her cohort Raquel Rodriguez backstage, walking off with baseball bats after which Ripley was shown lying injured next to her car and she was profusely bleeding from her forehead.

This unexpected event will now keep the former women's world champion off WWE Raw while the current champion is scheduled to face the women's champion from SmackDown, tomorrow night in a match to determine the inaugural Crown Jewel champion.
