WWE Raw: Seth Rollins Returns; Big Heel-Turn By Former Champion

Seth Rollins is back on WWE Raw and he's come straight for the one who sidelined him, storyline-wise following SummerSlam. Interfering the final match of last night's episode, he also possibly teased his next feud.

In the main event of the September 30 episode of Monday Night Raw, Braun Strowman defeated "Big" Bronson Reed to win the Last Monster Standing Match and it happened thanks to the intervention of the returning Seth Rollins.

At a point in the match, Reed hit a superplex on Strowman from the ropes, causing the ring to collapse. Both Strowman and Reed were trying to get to their feet as the referee was approaching the ten count.

It was then that Rollins entered the ring and planted Reed with a curb stomp on the steel stairs. Reed could not respond to the ten count and thus allowed Strowman to pick up the win.

It was back in August during the post-SummerSlam episode of Raw that Reed attacked Rollins in the ring and hit him with six tsunami splashes off the top rope, causing the victim to have internal bleeding which forced him to receive medical attention.

Dave Meltzer later reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the scripted angle went down to write Rollins off the TV so that he could recover from an injury. Following WrestleMania, he repaired a torn meniscus.

In more news from Raw, R-Truth returned and got back with The Miz, hoping to team up with him again. They were eventually inserted into a tag team match against AOP's Akam and Rezar.

During the match, Truth looked forward to giving The Miz a hot tag. After receiving the same Miz promptly kicked Truth in the face and left the ring. This allowed AOP to hit their finisher on Truth for the win.

Karrion Kross has lately been trying to get into The Miz by telling him that he wants Miz to be the guy who does whatever it takes to win. With Miz attacking Truth, he's turning back to a heel and Kross was all smiles at ringside.
