The familiar music of Seth Rollins kicked things off for this week's episode of Monday Night Raw with not-so-pleasant injury news for the fans. But the good thing is that the top WWE Superstar won't be missing WrestleMania 40.
The WWE World Heavyweight Champion was seen in a knee brace. He was quick to admit that his knee picked up an injury while doing a Moonsault during his match against Jinder Mahal, last week.

It was further informed that there's a possibility that he'll miss WrestleMania 40. After undergoing an MRI, a grade 2 MCL tear and a partially torn meniscus was discovered. A surgery will take him through a recovery period of 3-4 months.
This genuinely means that he'll miss the biggest show of the year. But he'll be taking it on a day-to-day basis and the rest will be up to the future. Seth wanted to reveal more about himself but Imperium then came out to interrupt.
The Intercontinental Champion Gunther was there to remind Seth that he had avoided him for such a long time. Being the top titleholder of the Raw brand, he should be carrying the belt and uplifting its prestige.
Seth said Gunther didn't let him finish, as he doesn't give a damn what the doctor says. It was emphasized by the world champion that he will work very hard and he will walk in and out with this title at WrestleMania.
Gunther, on the other hand, stated that he would win the Royal Rumble, this Saturday and he's going to choose Seth Rollins at WrestleMania to become the new World Heavyweight Champion.
Time will tell whether Gunther gets to win The Rumble but it was a sigh of relief for the WWE Universe to know that Seth Rollins won't be missing WrestleMania, after all. That being said, his pitched match against CM Punk is on the table.
The champion was already pulled from the lineup for this past weekend's WWE live events in Alabama and Mississippi and he got replaced by Randy Orton. This has shown WWE's way of protecting their marquee star so that he recuperates within WrestleMania.
