WWE Raw: Title Match, Return And More Announced For September 23 Episode

The next Intercontinental Championship defense for the champion Bron Breakker has finally been scheduled for next week's episode of Raw as he goes one-on-one with the current challenger for the title, "Main Event" Jey Uso.

The title match for next week was announced during this week's episode of Raw following multiple face-offs between the two over the course of the entire show as they also got involved in physical capacities.

The duo first had an in-ring promo exchange that saw Breakker going for a cheap shot at Uso and then set him up for a Spear. But, Uso would ultimately end the segment by hitting a Spear of his own.

Following the main event of Raw, Uso tried to have a run-in to save Damian Priest from a beatdown at the hands of The Judgment Day. But Breakker suddenly showed up and cut him in two halves with a spear of his own.

Also set for next week, Sami Zayn will compete against Ludwig Kaiser in a singles contest. This will continue the storyline where Zayn has been challenging Kaiser's Imperium ally Gunther to a World Heavyweight title match.

The pledge was same on this week's Raw but Kaiser and Gunther had denied the request. Kaiser also attacked Sami, but Sami fended him off and took the mic to promise that he would make Gunther say 'yes'.

Also set for next week's Raw, Drew McIntyre will make his return to the WWE's flagship show after a week's absence. He will respond to the scathing remarks made by CM Punk on this week's episode in light of their upcoming Hell in a Cell match at Bad Blood.

WWE Raw September 23 episode takes place at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California and it will be the second last episode before the returning Bad Blood premium live event. The currently confirmed match card for the show goes as follows:
