Bengaluru, Oct 29: As reported earlier, we will see history in the making at the Hell in a Cell PPV. For the first time in WWE history, we will see two women stealing the main event spotlight instead of the men.
It will the first ever Women's Hell in a cell match between Charlotte and Sasha Banks. The current Raw Women's champion, Sasha will defend her title in front of her home crowd in Boston, Massachusetts.
Now, Mick Foley has confirmed the main event on Facebook, this past week. However, he also stated that there are some uncertainties with the main event although it is being planned as the main event of the night.
He stated, "The match order for #HIAC probably not be finalised until hours before the actual show, so each member of the WWE Universe can decide for themselves what their main event is."
It means that the match might not take place at the end of the show despite being the main event of the PPV. A report from 434.com suggests that WWE just wants to see this women's main event match as a trail. They want to observe how much it can draw the viewership and ratings instead of the male athletes from the roster. If it is able to meet the expectation then we might get something bigger from the Women's division in the upcoming PPVs.
We might not get to know clearly until the day of the PPV, where the Women's championship match will take place on the match card.
There might be a chance of its being the opening contest or in the middle of the card. Previously, at the No Mercy PPV, we have got the main event of the PPV kicking off the night. WWE Raw might follow the same tradition, as well.
Technically, there's no fault of making the Women's contest as the main event since these two has heated up the rivalry over the summer and it will be said as one of the best feuds in the Women's division. Plus, we have not seen a spectacle like Women's competing inside the Hell in a Cell which itself is a creative idea every means.
