WWE: Reason why John Cena will propose Nikki Bella at Wrestlemania

Bengaluru, April 1: Fans may have complained about John Cena not getting a marquee match at Wrestlemania but WWE is making the most profit with this upcoming mixed tag team match.

John Cena will team up with his real-life partner, Nikki Bella to take on the team of The Miz and Maryse.

Now, Cena was previously scheduled to be featured in a match against the Undertaker. But, according to wrestling pundit, Dave Meltzer it would not be so big if Taker was pitted against the franchise.

Rather, this feud that features so much real-life hatred has been able to garner attention from all over the world.

Even those who do not watch wrestling matches in the WWE would watch it just because they love the reality show, Total Divas.

Meltzer stated that Cena and Nikki's relationship has been the central part of the match since it would eventually lead to the proposal from Cena. Also, this could very well be the last match of Nikki Bella.

Here are Meltzer's comments in which he stated as of why this mixed tag team feud would be more memorable than the Undertaker one:

“Him [John Cena] at WrestleMania, after they do a tag team match in what may be her retirement match…that's a lot bigger than him versus The Undertaker, which was the other choice.

"I mean it really is I mean to me The Undertaker is a big match and all, but it's not as big as this as far as a memorable thing."

The veteran journalist has also stated about the fired up promos that all these fours have delivered in recent weeks:

“No matter what, the promos are so much better. John Cena and Undertaker promos, I mean Undertaker would've cut a good promo and John would've done good promos with The Undertaker, but they wouldn't have been this good.

"I mean you don't have as much to work with. With Miz, he's got so much to work with and The Miz has so much to work with him."

The hardcore wrestling fans might deny the fact that Cena proposing to Nikki is not a bigger deal.

But, WWE will gain the ultimate benefit with so much promotion around this feud. Further, they can bring the eventful night more to the mainstream audience.
