New Delhi, Aug 5: When it comes to the return of CM Punk to the WWE, it is considered as the "return of the century". No wrestling fan can expect it to happen even in their wildest dreams. However, there's a word in the pro-wrestling industry which says "never say never" that keeps the hopes alive in this scenario.

Previously, we have seen the unthinkable returns from Goldberg and Kurt Angle to the company in recent times which is yet another indication that there are still some possibilities. These two's conditions were much similar to that of CM Punk as they left the WWE on an extremely bitter note.

But, time does play a major role to heal up the wounds and they did find a way to come back. This is the same reason why Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter stated that a return scenario from the most favorite WWE Superstar of all time can't be wiped out on any condition.

Furthermore, the journalist also reported that WWE creative has no problems wither when it comes to the former Straight Edge leader making his way back to the biggest pro-wrestling promotion. Check out his actual comments:

"That's why, no matter what is said, WWE wants CM Punk back and even though CM Punk was adamant about never doing it, history tells you time heals a lot of wounds."

This might turn out to be much soothing to the ears of the wrestling fans but in reality, there is no chance of CM Punk returning to the company, soon. He was forced to leave after WWE Doctor, Chris Armann filed a lawsuit against him which is not over, yet.

Furthermore, on numerous occasions, he went on record saying that there's no way that he is stepping back to the pro-wrestling, especially in the WWE. His wife, AJ Lee also clarified the same while promoting her book, a few months ago.

Lastly, he is still a UFC employee despite a devastating loss at his inaugural MMA fight in 2014. He has not stepped back to the Octagon. Ever since. There's no surety whether he is really intended to hang up his boots, forever.
