Irrespective of any TV tapings for their weekly programming, WWE usually hits the iconic Madison Square Garden arena in New York City, twice a year and that tradition continues with the second show coming up for 2024 in December.
There have been some discussions over WWE possibly dropping the World's Most Famous Arena from its live event schedule that was released in September for ticket-selling purposes. A Florida visit has been listed thus far for the MSG slot.

In an update, it's now been confirmed that WWE will indeed be returning to Madison Square Garden during the holiday season. The affirmation came during last night's NBA game at the venue in New York.
Through a video played between the game, Knicks' star Jalen Brunson made the announcement that WWE will run an untelevised live event at MSG on Thursday, December 26th. Tickets for that show go on sale this Friday.
As per the tradition, WWE routinely runs a show from the MSG during the holidays, between Christmas and New Year's Eve. Before last night's announcement, a live event was reserved from Jacksonville, Florida's Vystar Veterans Memorial Coliseum on December 26.
In light of the MSG announcement, questions were raised about whether the live event from Jacksonville was canceled or not. At present, the news is that WWE will be running both shows, simultaneously on post-Christmas night.
WWE's previously hosted show from Madison Square Garden was a televised episode of Friday Night SmackDown in June where Brunson was part of a televised angle with Indiana Pacers' star Tyrese Haliburton and the Knicks' star is expected to be there on the coming show, as well.
As part of their Holiday tour, WWE has announced overall ten live events including an episode of SmackDown and the final episode of Raw on the USA Network before the Netflix jump in January. The confirmed schedule goes as follows:
