Rey Mysterio became the latest superstar to declare his entry into the upcoming 30-Man Royal Rumble match during January 17th edition of WWE SmackDown which went down at the Pechanga Arena in San Diego, California.
Rey Mysterio joins several other big names in announcing their involvement in the battle royal which is set to headline the WWE Royal Rumble 2025, which takes place on February 1st at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indiana, Indianapolis.

While Mysterio made the announcement in the opening segment of SmackDown, a few other former winners had declared their entry into the 30-man over the top rope elimination battle royal, which gives a superstar a chance to challenge a champion of their choice at WrestleMania in April.
John Cena, who kicks off his farewell tour, became the first superstar to announce his entry into the men's Royal Rumble match on RAW's debut episode on Netflix. On the same night, CM Punk and Jey Uso also declared their interest.
Later, Paul Heyman said Roman Reigns will also be coming for Cody Rhodes is title and announced that the former two-time winner will compete in his first Royal Rumble match since 2020 during January 10th edition of SmackDown, when LA Knight also announced his entry.
On the January 13 edition of RAW on Netflix, CM Punk, Seth Rollins and Drew McIntrye announced their entry into the 30-man Royal Rumble match, which could see more big names added in the weeks to come.
The likes of The Rock, Randy Orton, AJ Styles and members of the Bloodline could all enter the contest, making it one of the biggest rumble matches to look forward to for the fans. Here is the full list of superstars who declared entry into Royal Rumble:
