WWE Royal Rumble 2025 is just under two days away and the rumours surrounding the traditional highlight match of the evening - the 30-superstar rumble matches has picked up pace.
The first premium live event (PLE) is set to go down at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana on Saturday, February 1, where not one but two Rumble matches will headline the show, kicking off the Road to WrestleMania 41 officially.

The stakes are higher than ever heading into the Women's Royal Rumble Match as the winner is guaranteed Women's Championship Match when WrestleMania comes to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Saturday, April 19, and Sunday, April 20.
The Women's Rumble match was first contested in the 2018 edition. And the match has seen various surprise returns and entries in the last seven editions. As it stands, there are only 10 confirmed entries for this year's women's rumble match, featuring two former winners. Here is a look at the confirmed entrants:
Apart from the aforementioned names, several superstars will join the 10 on the day of the PLE. Meanwhile, there is also the possibility of seeing a few surprises in the form of a returning Becky Lynch and Alexa Bliss.
Plus, there is also noise around new signing Jordynne Grace's appearance alongside several NXT stars, especially Roxanne Perez. NXT stars Roxanne Perez, Lash Legend, Stephanie Vaquer, and Jaida Parker have all been rumoured to have been spotted in Indianapolis ahead of Royal Rumble.
Over the years, we have seen some of the legends like Trish Stratus and Lita also make surprise returns for this matchup. So, don't rule out one of the legendary divas to also show up, while there is also chance for some former stars to make an appearance.
The anticipation for the match will be very high as it always brings with it a lot of surprises. However, as per the betting odds and reports from WrestleTalk, there is one superstar, who is backed to go all the way and win the contest, and in the process book herself a ticket to WrestleMania. And that superstar is none other than Charlotte Flair, who is making her long-awaited return to the ring on Saturday.
The report also adds that Charlotte Flair will go after WWE Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton at WrestleMania. But Flair does not really need to win the Royal Rumble as she can earn a title shot via the Elimination Chamber next month.
If Flair does end up challenging Stratton at Mania, the other women's champion Rhea Ripley could see her challenger also emerge either through the rumble or the chamber matches. As per reports, IYO SKY, Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan are the favourites to take the spot.
This does not still back either of the three will emerge victorious in the rumble as the betting odds also favour Charlotte Flair to make a triumphant return at the WWE Royal Rumble in Indianapolis this weekend.
