The Road to WrestleMania 41 officially kicks off in just a few hours with Royal Rumble 2025, which is set to take place at the at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Royal Rumble is well known to spring plenty of surprises with legends making appearances and big name superstars making long-awaited returns to the rings. As of the conclusion of SmackDown, there are 18 entrants confirmed for the men's rumble match.

John Cena, Roman Reigns, CM Punk and Seth Rollins are some of the stars declaring their entry into the rumble. There is every chance some of the legendary names can show up at the 30-man rumble match. Will some legends and longtime absentees show up at WWE Royal Rumble 2025? Here we take a look at the gossip:
According to former ECW star Tommy Dreamer past Royal Rumble winners Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton could be in the mix for what he label as a stacked men's rumble in years.
"I would say Brock [Lesnar] as well. Leaning into [Monday Night] RAW, there was another Brock reference and then I'd also say Randy [Orton]," Dreamer told on "Busted Open Radio".
As for The Rock, there are signs of his possible appearance based on certain storylines with Roman Reigns also being involved in the rumble match for the first time since 2020. Plus, Netflix UK posted a hype video for Royal Rumble, featuring The Rock, potentially hinting about his appearance.
Hulk Hogan also is been rumoured to make an appearance in the Rumble. But there is no official word on the same like the aforementioned superstars. However, due to his recent return and CM Punk's heat, there is chance he shows up in some capacity.
Hulk Hogan made his return to WWE TV during RAW on Netflix debut, where he received an overwhelmingly negative reaction from the fans. Weeks later, CM Punk used some negative remarks against the legend, possibly hinting at a heel return for Hogan.
As per WrestleVotes, legends and former stars like Rob Van Dam (RVD), John Bradshaw Layfield (JBL), Bubbah Ray Dudley, Tommy Dreamer, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Ric Flair, Mark Henry, Matt & Jeff Hardy, and Victoria will all be in in Indianapolis tonight.
There are also murmurs of former ECW superstar Rhyno making a surprise entry in the rumble after he was reportedly (as per Insider) spotted at the hotel, where he was then greeted by WWE Talent Relations in the lobby and then taken to a more private area.
Kurt Angle also hinted about a potential appearance after the legend told people close to him that WWE reached out about his involvement with something at Royal Rumble weekend, as per a report from Fightful.
With 12 slots to fill and still many on the current roster also likely to be involved, there is a chance that some of these stars could make an appearance, but not all of them. The Rock could be involved in non-ring action capacity. Randy Orton could be the one to look out for.
Everything said and done, all points to a John Cena win as the 16-time world champion has already revealed WrestleMania 41 will be his last. This points to Cena possibly headling the show of shows in April in Las Vegas.
