WWE Rumour: Big Show suffers hip issues, to undergo surgery

Bengaluru, September 10: WWE Raw witnessed a monstrous main event, this week that managed to earn the attention of the fans. Two of the giants in the WWE collided to determine the supremacy. It was the Big Show taking on against the number one contender for the Universal Championship, Braun Strowman.

Now, the initial reason for setting up the match was to put over Strowman before the title match. It was earlier announced that the monster among men will feature in the main event of No Mercy PPV. He is set to challenge Brock Lesnar after manhandling him over the Summerslam weekend.

So, the winner of the Big Show vs. Strowman match was quite a predictable one. The latter one was the obvious favorite against the man who has reached to the dawn of his career. But, quite interestingly, he earned the respect of the WWE Universe by taking Strownan to his limit in the final match of their trifecta series of matches.

Otherwise, we don't often see a giant like Show flying high for an elbow drop off the top rope. In the end, we received a mark-out moment when Braun Strowman thrashed him against the steel cage wall tearing it off. Apparently, there was a reason behind this.

As per the reports from John McKenna from Pro-wrestling Sheet, Big Show is dealing with a hip injury for a while. He need to under go a surgery to fix it. The moment Strowman put him through the steel cage was created to rule him off TV appearence.

Once Raw was concluded this past Monday Night, WWE released a footage where Big Show was seen struggling to get onto his feet. The officials came down to the ring to help him out of the arena.

This was the probable indication that the world's largest athlete might be absent from Raw in the upcoming weeks. The needed surgery would be performed and he would not be available until the problem gets fixed.

This might turn out to be one last hoorah for Show, as well. His contract with the WWE would be up within the next six months. Hence, he might not return to the ring, at all unless a renewal of deal happens.
