WWE Rumour: Goldberg Vs Brock Lesnar pushed to Royal Rumble

By Raja

Bengaluru, Oct 15: This past week on WWE Monday Night Raw, we have got a blockbuster news when Paul Heyman officially challenged Goldberg for a fight against his client, Brock Lesnar.

The pro-wrestling fraternity was waiting for this moment for a long time now and they were delighted to hear from Goldberg when he confirmed that he will address the challenge, this week on Raw.

Next week's edition of Monday Night Raw will take place from Denver, Colorado and we just can't wait to see the former WCW franchise returning to the WWE after a long hiatus of 12 years.

Now, last week on Talking Smack, Renee Young, and Daniel Bryan hinted that Raw has signed Goldberg, recently and we are going to get the dream match at Survivor Series.

WWE veteran announcer Jim Ross was the first to announce the same on Twitter and now that the Smackdown GM has confirmed it also, it's evident that we are going to see the epic match in the month of November.

But, there're some opposite reports as well which suggests that WWE might have stored some swerves in it.

According to PWInsider.com, the match might have pushed to the Royal Rumble PPV, next year. Wrestling journalist Mike Johnson has commented on a recent edition of the Taz show where he said that he believe that the match will not take place at the Survivor Series PPV.

As reported by AllWrestlingsNews.com, “Johnson feels that the potential Lesnar/Goldberg match will take place at this year's Royal Rumble.

"He thinks this will give Goldberg enough time to get himself back into great ring shape, and it's an attraction that will help sell out the 65,000 seat Alamodome in San Antonio.

"He says WWE should utilize and old school build for this match, keep both men from physical confrontation until the actual match."

Brock Lesnar has already competed in four PPV matches, this year, as per his contract. Unless his contract is negotiated, he is not supposed to perform anymore and will only return to in-ring competition at the Royal Rumble PPV. As of now, we have to look out for this week's Raw to get more updates on this.
