WWE Rumour: Hell in a Cell PPV to take place with dual main event matches

New Delhi, Sep 9: Smackdown will host its next PPV in line in the month of October. This time it will be the Hell in a Cell PPV which will take place as a brand-exclusive PPV for the second time. To make this event a sellout, it's evident that the Smackdown creative heads will keep no stones unturned.

As for now, Jinder Mahal will feature in the main event of the event. He is the reigning WWE Champion and will definitely defend the title at the PPV. The feud between him and Shinsuke Nakamura is far from over and will continue until then.

We have witnessed the dream match between Randy Orton and Nakamura on the bygone episode of Smackdown Live. It determined the number one contender for the WWE championship who will face Jinder Mahal in future. Nakamura turned out to be the one who will face the champion at Hell in a Cell.

Just after the conclusion of the match between Orton and Mahal, WWE.com confirmed the match for the PPV. However, it did not disclose whether the match will be contested inside the demonic structure or not. It left with a certain speculation as of whether it should be the main event of the night or not.

As per Dave Meltzer from Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the creative heads of Smackdown are willing to make the main event between Jinder and Nakamura. The match is bound to take place inside the Hell in a Cell structure and go last on the card.

On a contrary note, reports from the Dirty Sheets suggested that the feud between Shane McMahon and Kevin Owens is set to culminate inside the demonic structure, as well. The bad blood between these two has reached to a certain extent so that a match can be made.



Considering Shane McMahon's history, witnessing him inside the Hell in a Cell structure will be a treat. We can surely expect some daredevil stunts from him which is why the source stated this is going to be the main event of the night.

For now, there are some conflicts as of which one of these matches should close the show. But, it's for sure that we are going to get dual main events at the Hell in a Cell PPV. Plus, it will be a treat for the fans to watch two matches inside the unforgiving steel structure which has given birth to infamous moments, before.
