WWE Rumour: Huge title change expected at Summerslam PPV

Bengaluru, August 19: This Sunday, we will witness the 30th anniversary of the Summerslam PPV. The match card has been let known to us by both the brand, Raw, and Smackdown. Except for the Cruiserweight and the Intercontinental Championship, each of the titles XXwill be on the line.

The last title match added to the card was the one for the Raw tag team title. Sheamus and Cesaro will defend against the team of Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins. The General Manager of Raw, Kurt Angle made this match official on this last edition of the flagship show.

Ambrose and Rollins were having troubles for quite sometimes while getting along. The Lunatic Fringe could not forget the fact that he was once stabbed in his back by Rollins. This kept the rift ongoing for a week now until these two finally fists bumped to each other to get reunited.

Apparently, this partial shield reunion will hand them a big win on this Sunday. It is expected that they will become the new tag team champions by defeating Sheamus and Cesaro at Summerslam. The possibility was reported by Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

As per the source, one-half of the tag team champions, Sheamus will be off from WWE to film his next Hollywood project named The Buddy Games. The filming process has already been started and the Celtic Warrior will join the crew, soon.

So, there's no way that the company will put the championship on Sheamus and Cesaro even after the biggest event of the summer. Rather, the upcoming title reign by the former Shield brethren will be much appreciated by the fans.

It is to be noted that if Rollins and Ambrose win the Raw tag team championships on this Sunday then it will make the latter one, a grand slam title winner in the WWE. It means that he will the first member from the Shield to win all the prime titles present in the WWE, today.

The WWE Universe erupted in the moment when the Shield reunion took place, this past Monday Night. We can expect a similar moment at Summerslam if they do win the titles.
