WWE Rumour: Maria Kanellis Bennett returning to the company

Bengaluru, Mar 1: Wrestlemania season is approaching towards us, very fast and we are getting a plethora of rumours prior to the biggest stage of the year.

This year, WWE wants a number of former WWE female talents to be back in the company to organize a somewhat multi-women match.

They might even retain these talents to use them for the post-Wrestlemania season, as well. Names like Victoria, Kelly Kelly, Melina are supposedly being contacted for the same purpose and going by the latest WWE grapevine, we are getting yet another addition to it.

The former WWE Diva, Maria Kanellis is rumoured to be the one whom WWE wants, as well. She is married to Mike Bennett and performed with him all over the world.

As per the latest news, both of their TNA contract has already expired. PWinsider.com stated that they have officially cut their ties with the company and are free agents, for now.

Apparently, WWE is targeting this couple and took Instagram to wish the Diva on her birthday. It was quite unusual on WWE's part since they don't get in touch on a talent who is under the wings of their arch-rival company.

The friendly gesture is supposed to be the part of a brewing deal between the two parties. Although, the rumours say that the couple would be renewing their contract with TNA, soon, we can never say never in the business of pro-wrestling.

The former eye-candy Diva had earned quite a name for herself during her stint in the WWE (2004-2010).

She had a controversial run with hook ups with a number of superstars and following it up with the last Playboy cover in the WWE in the year 2008.

After leaving the company, she became a bigger name in promotions like ROH (Ring of Honor) and NJPW (New Japan Pro-wrestling).

With a worldwide fame, Maria can certainly be a great asset to the company when it comes to marketing and reality TV show, Total Divas.
