WWE Rumour: Naomi will not defend her Women’s championship at Wrestlemania
Bengaluru, Feb 19: To the shock of the WWE Universe, Naomi was able to dethrone the reigning Smackdown Women's champion, Alexa Bliss at the Elimination Chamber PPV.
Although she headed into the PPV with major momentums, it was hard to believe that she will come out of Phoenix, Arizona as the brand new champion since she has not featured in the big leagues.

As per the latest reports, Naomi was bound to get a big push during the Wrestlemania season due to the fact that this year it will be hosted by Orlando, Florida which is the hometown from her.
It is quite obvious that the crowd present in the city will be tearing the roof off cheering for her and especially considering her spectacular 'glowing' entrance.
However, since she is still not considered as the big league player, a title defense opportunity might be waiting for her at the grandest stage of them all.
The latest report from cagesideseats.com suggested that WWE creative will not arrange a championship match for her at Wrestlemania. But, she will definitely walk into the Citrus Bowl with her title.
To replace the championship match from the blue brand, WWE is arranging a tag team contest. Naomi will team up with Becky Lynch to face the team of Mickie James and Alexa Bliss on that night.
This means that there will be another tag team contest from the women's division at Wrestlemania which is seemingly unnecessary.
Previously at Wrestlemania 31, Bella Twins had teamed up against the team of Paige and AJ Lee. But then the ongoing Women's revolution has not started, officially.
So, it is a disappointment from both a performer and a fan's view.
It's good to see though to see Naomi in the top spot of the Women's division after the hard work that she's been putting over the years.
Her rivalry with Alexa Bliss and Mickie James will be continuing, likely until the Wrestlemania season passed by. This might help her to get a solid title run, as well.
