WWE Rumour: Ronda Rousey to receive a match at Survivor Series PPV

Bengaluru, September 10: Ronda Rousey switch to WWE is one of the constant news that is up on the rumour mill for a couple of years now. As a legendary MMA athlete, it's no wonder that the officials of the WWE want her to make an appearance which could boost the ratings.
In recent times, there have been quite a few names from UFC which were nurtured to show up in the WWE. Cris Cyborg wanted a match against Becky Lynch at this past Summerslam. But, it never came to fruition due to the supposed interference from Ronda, herself.
According to a tweet from Cyborg, the former Bantamweight Champion does not want anybody to step into the squared circle before her. This is understandable considering the good reputation that she shares with the head honchos of the WWE.
It is also to be noted that Cyborg's tweet was an indirect hint of Ronda Rousey competing in the WWE, in near future. The speculations were already fuelled up once the former undefeated streak-holder showed up in recent Mae Young Classic taping and had a confrontation with the four horsewomen of the WWE alongside her pals.
Now, Dave Meltzer gave a big news which indicates that we might not have to wait till Wrestlemania 34 to witness Ronda's WWE in-ring debut. If things go according to the current plans then we are all set for her in the remaining dual brand PPV of the year in November.
At Survivor Series, a match is being sketched featuring the UFC legend. It would either be a tag team action between the two four horse-women factions in the WWE and UFC or a singles match. Charlotte Flair and Stephanie McMahon are the two front-runners as her opponent.
The WWE officials are still favoring Stephanie's name as Ronda's first opponent considering how big the match would be. They already had a segment at Wrestlemania 31 which is an advantage to continue the storyline from where they left off. The multi-woman match is also a good choice, though.
Ronda Rousey has already started training for an upcoming match in the WWE as per the previous reports from fightful.com. Her future appearance in the WWE will benefit the company in a bigger way when it comes to media attention. We will have to wait for some more times for the inevitable to happen, finally.
