Toronto, Nov 22: The Survivor Series PPV was a spectacular one for WWE. Calling it a successful one will certainly be an understatement.
As per the reports, this has turned out to be the biggest PPV of the year 2016. The WWE Network subscription saw an all-time high subscription to witness the “Fantasy warfare" between Goldberg and Brock Lesnar.
The Myth literally made the beast extinct in almost two minutes which left the WWE universe in complete shock.
Apart from the main event, a back and forth 5-on-5 men's contest was held between team raw and team Smackdown which turned out to be a nail-biting one since the beginning.
Shane McMahon was supposed to be the weak link from Smackdown's part but he continued with his unbelievable resistance and high-flying moves.
In fact, he turned out to be the man behind eliminating the mountain of a man, Braun Strowman from team Raw who was looking dominant at that point.
The jaw-dropping leap from the top rope through the table was the reason for Strowman to get counted out from the match.
Team Smackdown have earned the victory, last night but they might have suffered a major setback when Shane went for another high-risk maneuver.
Shane went for a coast-to-coast to Roman Reigns from the top of the turnbuckle but got caught with a massive spear from Reigns in mid-air.
I know this is #RawVsSmackdown but I'm hoping @shanemcmahon is ok. That was a nasty collision.#SurvivorSeries

Shane was taken backstage for further evaluation. He was also no longer part of the Survivor Series elimination match from then on.
It was thought that his injury was not legit and part of a storyline but that might not be true since WWE Raw, Mick Foley tweeted out praying for Shane's well-being.
Even when the medical staffs were addressing Shane's injury, Randy Orton walked onto Shane's son telling him not to worry about his father.
This indicates the injury might be legit. We might learn more once Smackdown comes on air, tomorrow.
