WWE: Rumoured main event matches of Wrestlemania 33

By: Raja

Florida, Nov 5: The biggest event of the year in the WWE calendar, Wrestlemania will celebrate its 33rd anniversary, next year. It will be hosted from the Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida on 3rd April 2017.

Wrestlemania matches are set up with long-term feuds culminating at the event and hence it's quite difficult to predict the matchups and especially the championship bouts.

However, with the latest turn of events and hints from WWE, we can make some bold predictions with the lineups.

Shaquille O' Neal Vs The Big Show

These two goliaths have crossed paths on different occasions, inside and outside the ring. Since the time they had a stare-down at last year's Wrestlemania, WWE has been constantly teasing with their match and hence it is quite certain that we will see this match. The giant big show will get a proper send-off by getting the match against the legendary NBA player.

The Rock Vs Vin Diesel

Life and Style magazine first came up with the rumored match-up idea. Since the 8th movie of the Fast and Furious franchise is all set to release within a week from Wrestlemania, the marketing team would try to capitalize on this match. Plus, The Rock is not having a good time with his co-star, Vin Diesel, at all.

Triple H Vs Seth Rollins

Seeds of this match have been planted after Triple H returned by turning on his former poster boy. This was originally planned for previous year's Wrestlemania but Rollin's knee injury nixed out the plan.

It's almost evident that we are going to see this match at Wrestlemania 33. Rumors even suggest that we might get this match earlier than expected i.e. at the Royal Rumble PPV.

Undertaker Vs John Cena

This match too got shelved due to John Cena's shoulder injury. It is the dream match that the every pro-wrestling fan wants to see.

In the process, we might get this one as Undertaker's farewell match. What better way to end his legendary career by taking on the franchise of the company? Hence, we are almost guaranteed to see this one.

Brock Lesnar Vs Shane McMahon

Brock Lesnar has hit Shane McMahon with an F-5 at the Summerslam PPV, creating the initial heats between the two.

Shane has not forgotten the beast's action and admitted on Smackdown Live that the thing between him & Lesnar is far from over.

Hence, once Royal Rumble comes around, preparation for this match will be in full swing and the beef will take place, directly.
