Multiple top championship matches will be seen on the card of the returning Saturday Night’s Main Event special event, which is set within two weeks in the WWE schedule, as further announcements were reserved on this week’s Raw.
On the December 2 episode of the WWE flagship show, it was confirmed that the Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan will defend her title against IYO SKY at Saturday Night’s Main Event. SKY is getting the title match as she’s the number-one contender for the world title.

Morgan and SKY featured in opposition sides of the Women’s WarGames match at last Saturday’s Survivor Series where Ripley pinned Morgan in the match finish. Heading into the bout, SKY won a multi-person contest to earn a title shot.
On the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez defeated IYO SKY & Kairi Sane in a tag team match. After the match, Rodriguez continued attacking the two Damage CTRL members.
This led Rhea Ripley to come out and make the save for the two babyfaces. Ripley and Raquel got into a brawl which ended with Raquel tossing Rhea into the corner of the commentary table to stand tall.
Later that night on Raw, it was announced that Gunther would defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Finn Balor of The Judgment Day at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event as an aftermath of what transpired at Survivor Series.
Balor helped Gunther to retain his title against Damian Priest through a mid-match attack. On Raw, Balor met Gunther and said The Ring General thus owed him a World Heavyweight Championship match. Gunther said that he didn’t need Balor’s help.
Gunther further proceeded to defeat Balor’s Judgment Day cohort Dominik Mysterio after which Balor attacked Gunther in the ring. Afterward, Raw GM Adam Pearce announced Gunther vs. Balor for Saturday Night’s Main Event.
