WWE hosts the Saturday Night’s Main Event 2025 as the show returns to prime time live from San Antonio, Texas featuring the Superstars from Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown.
The classical show, which was originally broadcast by NBC from 1985 to 1992, replacing Saturday Night Live in its late night timeslot on an occasional basis throughout the year, makes it's return for a second show in the space of a month, having previously aired last year in December.

Sixteen years since it first aired, the special show returned to the same location it all started 39 years ago - the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York last month, when the crowning of the inaugural US Women's Champion, and a WWE Hall of Famer returned for commentary duty.
This time the event will be headlined by a contract signing between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens for their upcoming Ladder match for the Undisputed WWE Championship set for the Royal Rumble, with the contract signing being moderated by Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels.
The event will see three champions - World Heavyweight Champion Gunther, Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley and Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker make title defences, while another one-on-on match based on a recent rivalry rounds off the card.
