WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event: Multiple Editions Expected Before WrestleMania 41 PLE

Anticipations are bigger with the returning Saturday Night's Main Event edition set for next month after a gap of almost two decades. As such, the hypes are so big that WWE plans on holding multiple episodes of this particular event before next year's WrestleMania 41.

As the returning Saturday Night's Main Event awaits in December, a new update from WrestleVotes suggests that the second edition of the legendary show is set to air on January 25 that lands just a week before the 2025 Royal Rumble.

This would be considered a bold move on WWE's part given they will be delivering two PLE-quality cards for two consecutive weeks starting in late January. This is what the source has to offer regarding what appears to be a must-watch show for wrestling fans.

"Sources indicate NBC's second episode of Saturday Night's Main Event is set for January 25th, with the location still TBD. A bold scheduling move, as it lands just one week before the Royal Rumble."

WrestleVotes has already reported that WWE has chalked out 5 special Saturday Night's Main Event shows from December of this year until the end of 2025. One of such shows, possibly the third one in the spree will take place just before WrestleMania 41.

It was added that these shows would become essential parts of the WrestleMania season alongside other major events like Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber signaling more SNMEs could be added to the schedule in the coming days.

The much-anticipated return of WWE Saturday Night's Main Event is scheduled for December 14 at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Long Island, New York airing at 8 PM ET on NBC and streaming on Peacock.

The classic WWE programming is returning as a quarterly special via a deal signed between WWE and NBCUniversal as SmackDown was renewed to air on USA Network until 2029 starting from the fall of 2024.
