WWE set to host 50-man 'Greatest Royal Rumble' next month

The fans will see stars like John Cena, Triple H, Roman Reigns, AJ Styles, Braun Strowman, The New Day, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt and Shinsuke Nakamura, among others collide in this unique matchup.

King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to host Greatest Royal Rumble

Bengaluru, March 6: The WWE and Saudi General Sports Authority in partnership have announced the Greatest Royal Rumble event which is set to be hosted at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on April 27.

Unlike the original Rumble match which features 30 Superstars, for the very first time in WWE history we are about to witness 50 WWE Superstars in the 'Greatest Royal Rumble' match.

The fans will see stars like John Cena, Triple H, Roman Reigns, AJ Styles, Braun Strowman, The New Day, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt and Shinsuke Nakamura, among others collide in this unique matchup next month but the stakes of this bout haven't been revealed as yet.

In the 30-man Royal Rumble, the winner gets a shot at the prime champion of his choice and we expect something similar to happen in this match as well, but we need not speculate for long as the event is just a month away, we are expected to get clarity on this soon.

Considering the number of men on the rosters and the fact that the rest of the card likely needs to be filled out, there will be an opportunity for a lot of surprises in this bout.

There is no ticket or broadcast information available right now, leaving fans to wonder whether this one-of-a-kind match will be available live or otherwise on the WWE Network.

This historic event is part of a 10-year strategic multiplatform partnership in support of Vision 2030, Saudi Arabia's social and economic reform program.

"The Greatest Royal Rumble will be a spectacle of historic proportions," said Vince McMahon, WWE Chairman & CEO.

"Our partnership with the Saudi General Sports Authority reflects a long-term commitment to present WWE's world-class entertainment to a global audience on a grander scale than ever before."
