WWE is famous for throwing celebrations for the Legends of the pro-wrestling industry and one such occasion will go down, next week in honor of bonafide first-ballot Hall of Famer who’s still active when it comes to in-ring competition.
As noted on this week’s Smackdown, WWE Hall of Famer Edge’s 25th anniversary in the company will be celebrated, two weeks from now on the August 18 episode that takes place from his hometown of Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the Scotiabank Arena.

As The Rated-R Superstar, he ended up winning the WWE Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship several times. In total, he had won 31 championships in his career which is more than any superstar in history.
Since returning from the once career-ending injury in 2020, Edge has been a part-timer on WWE TV, and that stint continues. There was a rumour about him possibly retiring on the latest upcoming episode in Toronto.
However, appearing on the Grayson Waller talk-show, last month on Smackdown, he clarified that he’s not hanging up the boots, anytime soon. That being said, it’s still not clear how WWE plans to use Edge in his hometown.
