It seems like WWE SmackDown will be having an explosive kick-off toward the 2024 Money in the Bank premium live event with multiple segments being confirmed for tonight's episode including two major returns.
CM Punk will be onboard for this week's SmackDown as promised by him during the Clash at the Castle post-show press conference. He will admittedly be on the show to possibly declare himself medically cleared by doctors for in-ring competition.

The Straight Edge Superstar picked up the injury at this year's Royal Rumble while wrestling Drew McIntyre in January in a spot that also commenced a highly personal feud between the two that's moving further with each passing week.
Punk cost McIntyre the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40 by laying him out and helping Damian Priest to cash in his Money in the Bank contract. At Clash at the Castle, he appeared as a referee to cost him another title shot against Priest.
In light of the happening, McIntyre "quit" the WWE on this week's episode of Raw in what appeared to be a kayfabe angle and CM Punk's appearance on SmackDown visibly affirms that the storyline should move further, eyeing a SummerSlam matchup.
In a new segment announced on WWE's official website, LA Knight will confront United States Champion Logan Paul on SmackDown in what will mark the latter's return to the WWE after an absence of a few weeks.
This confrontation segment was officially confirmed in an article on WWE.com after Knight "invaded" Paul's home in Puerto Rico and enjoyed some solo time in a swimming pool much to the disgust of the US Champion.
Apart from a pair of Money in the Bank qualifying bouts, WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will also be there on the June 21 episode of WWE SmackDown which takes place at the All-State Arena in Chicago, Illinois. The match card for the show is given below:
