WWE Smackdown full results with video highlights: October 11

California, Oct 12: WWE Smackdown was hosted by the SAP Center in San Jose, California as WWE's tour in the state of California continued for two consecutive weeks.

We kicked off the night with our brand new Intercontinental champion, Dolph Ziggler who was out to address the WWE universe for his victory at the No Mercy PPV.

The Miz interfered saying that the victory was a fluke and he is going to steal his title again from the show-off.

Their rivalry is still far from over and he will have his rematch for that title in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, Ziggler was scheduled to face the Spirit squad members, Mikey and Kenny in two-on-one handicapped match.

Ziggler showed tremendous resiliency in the bout and picked up the victory by delivering the superkick. The Miz was present at the ringside and attacked Ziggler by hitting the skull crushing finale.

AJ Styles addressed the WWE Universe following his title victory at the No Mercy PPV. But, Dean Ambrose appeared and the Smackdown GM made him the guest referee for a match between the Champion and James Ellsworth.

AJ was prohibited from putting his hands on the referee. So, Ambrose continued with his crazy antiques throughout the match.

In the end, he handed Ellsworth the victory by hitting the Dirty Deeds twice on Styles and dragging his opponent on him.

Carmella is still not done yet with Nikki Bella and went to attack her again at ringside. Later she faced Naomi in a match and Nikki showed up to claim her redemption causing the distraction.

Naomi picked up the win and Carmella fled away while Nikki was chasing her down. Becky Lynch will defend her women's title on November 8 edition of Smackdown Live.

Smackdown show-runners issued a Survivor Series challenge to Raw to make a team Raw vs. team Smackdown official. Jimmy Usos defeated Chad Gable in a singles contest.
