WWE Smackdown Live preview and schedule: April 25, 2017

New Delhi, April 25: The landscape of Smackdown Live has been drastically changed over the last couple of weeks. Two major entries in the male and female main event scene kept the freshness intact on the show, even after the superstar shakeup process.

Tonight, the just begun rivalries will start to pick up with a massive championship match in store.

The episode will take place at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa. Ten 2 Network will broadcast it live from 5.30 AM onwards with the Talking Smack show on 8.30 AM. The repeat telecast will be available on Ten 1 Network at 5 PM and 9 PM, tomorrow.

The main event scene on Smackdown Live looks full stacked, at this point. Randy Orton will have his final showdown against Bray Wyatt before he goes into the House of Horrors on this Sunday. Plus, he'll have to watch his back with Jinder Mahal coming after him, as well.



It was an unpleasant surprise to witness Jinder emerging as the new number one contender for the WWE title. Now, it's time to give him a strong push. It is expected that he will re-introduce himself on the show with The Bollywood Boyz firmly behind him. So, a new heel faction should be born, tonight.

Also, two big matches are scheduled to take place on the night. Randy Orton would take one Eric Rowan in a No-DQ contest. On the other hand, AJ Styles and Baron Corbin will lock horns again in a rematch from last week.

The women from the Smackdown Live might get another opportunity to the main event picture of the night with Charlotte Flair starting to take over the division. After she won her match against Naomi, last week, tonight she gets her title match.



Now, it's evident that Charlotte will become the champion on the blue brand to become the first-ever title holder on both Raw and Smackdown. But, that should not happen today as WWE might want to want a little bit more before Charlotte officially starts her championship reign.

Meanwhile, the other members of the women's division had already complained to the authority about Charlotte getting this sudden opportunity while they did not.

The rumour mill suggests that a new faction would be born among those three. Also, a rivalry between Becky Lynch and Carmella would be brewing since the creative is planning an Ellsworth vs. Becky match.

On the tag team division, The Usos receive the number one contender with a first-ever 'beat the clock' challenge in the tag division. All the other members will participate in this contest with the winner receiving a title opportunity.

This jam-packed edition of Smackdown, WWE.com announced an interview session with Shinsuke Nakamura which will kick-off tonight's show.
