WWE Smackdown Live preview & schedule: August 29, 2017

Bengaluru, August 29: WWE Smackdown stole the spotlight this past week on the back of the Summerslam PPV as they came out as the better show.
While Raw was able to snatch the franchise player, John Cena from them, the blue brand went right back at them by signing two major popular superstars under their wings. These two are supposed start rivalries from tonight.
Tonight’s episode of Smackdown will be hosted by The Verizon Arena in North Little Rocks, Arkansas..
The live streaming will be available in India on the Sony Ten 1 Network from 5.30 AM onwards. The repeat telecast will be broadcasted on the Ten 1 Network at 5 PM and 10 PM, tomorrow. (August 30)
In the WWE Championship scenario, Shinsuke Nakamura was able to seek retribution on Jinder Mahal. The titleholder was waiting for another sneak attack on The Artist. But, the latter one was able to overcome each one from Jinder’s faction.
The finish witnessed Jinder lying flat after getting hit by a Kinshasa. Now, this is evident that Nakamura will definitely get a rematch for the title against The Maharaja. The question is when we can expect to hear about this from the officials.
Interestingly, Baron Corbin was inserted into the US title picture last week after he was given the duty of the special guest referee in the championship match. He had quite a few moments with the champion hinting that Styles Vs Corbin would be the next feud for the United States title.
On the other hand, Owens was not happy with Shane McMahon coming down to the ring and officiate things despite Corbin’s presence. It is evident that a rivalry would be brewed from this point, between these two as we will look forward to the feud start officially.
In the women’s championship picture, it’s hard to predict who is going to be Natalya’s next opponent. Naomi is still owed a rematch for the title whereas Lana and Tamina are gearing up for the title picture. Plus, Carmella is also waiting patiently with her MITB briefcase. The situation would be clearer tonight.
Randy Orton should return on the show to resume his feud against Rusev after a week’s absence. Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable will team up for the first time on Smackdown Live whereas Bobby Roode will begin his first rivalry on the main roster.
