WWE Smackdown Live preview and schedule: December 12, 2017

Bengaluru, December 12: This is the final episode of Smackdown Live before the last PPV of the year, Clash of Champions.

Last week, we received a plethora of announcements for the show and this week, we expect to receive huge buildup around these matches. The ongoing drama between the authority figures and Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens is set to grow bigger in this episode.

The go home edition of Smackdown Live for the upcoming PPV event will be hosted by the US Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio.

It will be telecasted live via the Sony Ten 1 Network on Wednesday (December 13) at 6.30 AM with the repeat telecast at 5 PM and 10 PM.

The tensions are certainly high at this moment in the blue brand as Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon are not on the same page for a while now and that might have crossed the limit after the latter one put his personal vendetta against Owens and Zayn.

Shane McMahon put Owens and Zayn’s careers on the line and appointed himself as the special guest referee for the Clash of Champions PPV tag team match.

It was not a pleasant scene for the general manager Bryan since he can’t stand such unfair decisions. So, he is likely to protest against this and Owens and Zayn are also expected to address the decision with a promo prior to the big-time match. Meanwhile, the commissioner’s vendetta will continue against the heels as Owens will be forced to compete against Shinsuke Nakamura.

This will also be the last time that AJ Styles and Jinder Mahal will meet before their championship match Clash of Champions. Tonight, there will be a contract signing between the two of them for the WWE title match.

The contender is riding quite high at this moment following the WWE Live in India event and will try to keep retain the momentum. It will also be interesting to see whether the alliance between him and the Singh Brothers will come to an end soon.

Plus, the entire women’s division will be present at ringside during the title match at Clash of Champions. So, each one of them will try to make a big statement heading into the bout.

Also, Carmella is likely to give a strong message on the night in order to hint a possible money in the Bank cash-in at Clash of Champions. Meanwhile, The Riott Squad will take on the team of Tamina, Lana, and Carmella, tonight.

Mojo Rawley and Zack Ryder have ignited a rivalry following their break up as a tag team position and a singles match between them should be made official for the PPV night.

In the United States Championship picture, Dolph Ziggler might try to come up with sneak attacks on Roode and Corbin to stay relevant and pick up some momentum before heading to the title match.

In a tag team match, Rusev and Aiden English will try to keep the momentum ongoing when they take on the champions, The Usos.
