Bengaluru, December 19: A massive fallout from the bygone Clash of Champions PPV awaits tonight’s Smackdown Live and the episode will also set the tone for the final show of the year 2017 in the Holiday Week.

The tensions are still running high between the two authority figures on Smackdown Live and a new angle is expected to be added to this storyline in Smackdown Live hosted at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

The live telecast of the episode in India will be available via Sony Ten 1 on Wednesday (December 20) from 6.30 AM onwards, while the repeat will be aired at 5 PM and 10 PM on the same network, later that day. (December 20)

The main event of Clash of Champions showcased AJ Styles pinning Jinder Mahal fair and square to retain the WWE Championship. He also alluded that the challenger will not get any other chance for the title.

However, next week it will be the holiday special edition of Smackdown and a title match is being advertised for that show.

If the reports are true then there would be yet another rematch between the two at the last edition of Smackdown Live for 2017. It has to be noted that Daniel Bryan might also be appointed as the referee for this title match.

As for tonight, Randy Orton, Nakamura and AJ Styles will team up to take on against Jinder Mahal, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn.

Speaking of the general manger, it takes us to the controversial finish of the tag team main event match at the bygone PPV. His fast count was the sole reason why Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn were able to retain their job on the blue brand.

But, this certainly took the rift between the two authority figures to the boiling point and tonight, we wait to see if the commissioner, Shane McMahon takes any further action against Owens-Zayn or Bryan.

After the Smackdown Women’s Championship match, Natalya declared that she is turning her back on the crowd which slightly indicated that her WWE career might be coming to a close.

However, she also took a shot at the Flair family which was a hint of another angle being lined up in this Charlotte-Natalya storyline which will be revealed, tonight.

Dolph Ziggler grabbed the United States Championship from Baron Corbin who is frustrated, right now and will be looking forward to claiming his rematch clause, as early as possible which might be announced for next week.

Also, in the tag team title picture, The Usos who lack challengers right now, might have to confront the Bludgeon Brothers who are unstoppable, right now. The champions will be facing the team of Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable, tonight.
