Bengaluru, February 20: Last week, the WWE championship match which will be the main event match for the Fastlane PPV was confirmed on Smackdown Live. With five prime competitors from the blue brand competing for this match, things should heat up from tonight.
Apart from the prime title match, a huge six-woman tag team match was announced for tonight’s episode which should also be the main event of the show hosted at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona.
In India, the show will be broadcasted, live on the Sony Ten 1 Network on Wednesday (February 21) from 6.30 AM onwards, while the repeat will be aired later the same day at 12 PM and 7 PM on Thursday (February 22) on the same network.
Last week, Dolph Ziggler and Baron Corbin won their respective matches to set up a fatal-5-way contest for the WWE Championship at Fastlane. Needless to say, this announcement has made the main event scene even more interesting as the audience will love to see how these two will be used in the storyline perspective.

Meanwhile, the odds are against AJ Styles as he will be defending against four other superstars at the same time. Last week, the reigning champion was not present on the show. He will be back, this week to discuss about the situation and will definitely not be happy with the Authority putting his title chances in jeopardy like this.
The potential reason behind the announcement of this match is to set up the Women’s title match at the Fastlane PPV. Charlotte can’t be defeated in a singles contest by any member of the Riott Squad which is why she might end up digesting the pinfall in this tag match. A chaos is expected to break out in this contest that might allow Ruby Riott to pin the champion and earn a future title shot.
